2018 Volkswagen Golf R

Listed by a franchise dealer in Washington Township, NJ · On lot for 16 days · VIN verifiable at NHTSA

This used 2018 Volkswagen Golf R is listed at $29,909 by Prestige Subaru of Turnersville Nj in Washington Township, NJ 08012. It has 61,130 miles on the odometer (dealer-reported, not independently verified by OAV). The exterior color is White. It features a 4WD drivetrain with a 2.0L I4 engine and Manual transmission.

OAV's independent, evidence-backed Price-to-Market analysis rates this vehicle as Overpriced — priced above the supported comparable range. Based on 20 comparable listings matched to this vehicle, the estimated market range is $23,203 to $27,193. These comparisons match year, make, and model, using trim where the data supports it; every price shown is the real advertised price. Mileage is never used to select comparables or adjust their prices. OAV withholds a verdict when mileage looks unreliable, or when higher-than-typical mileage, not a market discount, better explains a lower price. Over 120,000 miles, OAV still publishes Overpriced but withholds Great Deal and Fair Price: comparable cars usually have fewer miles, which can make those two verdicts misleading.

This vehicle has been on the lot for 16 days.

Analysis powered by OAV's patented inventory standardization technology (U.S. Patent No. 12,236,477). Verdict methodology ptm-verdict-v1 · snapshot Oct 17, 2026. The comparable band (patent pending) is the input; ptm-verdict-v1 is the versioned OAV rule set that turns it into this verdict.

How this deal is rated

OAV compares this 2018 Volkswagen Golf R against similar vehicles currently available for sale — same make, model, and year range, using trim where the data supports it. Based on where this listing falls in that comparable set, it is rated:

• Great Deal — priced below the comparable-range floor by at least OAV's minimum-gap margin; a smaller gap under the floor is Fair Price.
• Fair Price — priced within the comparable range, or below the floor by less than that margin.
• Overpriced — priced above the comparable range.
• Unscored — OAV withholds a verdict when the evidence cannot support one: too few or too widely spread comparables, a price it cannot validate, a branded or salvage title, or mileage that would distort the comparison. The listing stays visible; only the rating is withheld.

Listings show OAV's Price-to-Market verdict and live market context for every dealer's inventory, whether or not the dealer has any relationship with OAV. Shopper questions reach dealers through OAV whether or not they have claimed their listings. A dealer that claims its listings can choose where those questions are delivered and read them in its OAV inbox; claiming changes nothing shown on any OAV page. A dealer that has received a shopper question through OAV has a green contact card; other dealers' cards are white. The color is not a rating, a verification, or an endorsement. While OAV tests the color, half of these dealers' listings, chosen at random by vehicle, show the white card instead. A dealer that pays for OAV Dealer Plus has an "OAV Dealer Plus" label on the dealer contact block of its own listings. The label means the dealer pays OAV; it is not a rating, a verification, or an endorsement. That is the complete list of what a relationship with OAV changes. Payment never changes a vehicle's verdict, its eligibility to be scored or cited, the evidence shown or withheld, or where and how prominently the listing appears on any OAV page, board, or answer. There is no paid placement, ranking, ordering, verdict badge, or featured position of any kind. OAV sells dealers insight into the evidence, never influence over it.
