Kia Optima sold prices in New Mexico

OAV.io analyzes millions of vehicle listings using RetailVision™ market data to identify vehicles priced below expected market ranges based on year, make, model, trim (when available), and comparable listings.

OAV helps determine if a vehicle is a good deal by comparing its price to similar listings within its supported comparable range. Sell-through is separate Demand-Verified evidence, not part of the price verdict.

Independent market evidence — no dealer pays for inclusion or ranking, no editorial curation, only observed sold-price data from dealer-anonymized retail listing lifecycle feeds.

Sold-price evidence through July 2026 — the latest month with fully confirmed sales. Published monthly: each month appears once its sales complete the confirmation window (about a 3-week lag), so the newest complete month trails the calendar.

How OAV computes sold-price aggregates

OAV uses RetailVision™ market data to derive state × make × model sold-price aggregates from dealer-anonymized retail listing lifecycle observations, benchmarked against confirmed retail transaction data. Every published number is a dated observation of a fully-closed reporting month — not a verdict on any single vehicle, and not a prediction.

  • Grain: state × make × model × month. Only fully-closed reporting months are published.
  • Statistical + dealer-anonymization gates enforce a minimum sample size, minimum distinct contributing dealers, and a per-dealer concentration cap so no single dealer dominates a cell.
  • Median, 25th/75th percentiles, average days-on-lot, median mileage, and median vehicle age summarize each cell's distribution — no dealer identity, no VIN-level detail.
  • Current asking-price context is drawn from live dealer listings deduplicated by VIN and compared against the most recent closed sold month.
  • Weekly refresh with a 22-day confirmation lag, so partial-month cells are never published and repeated queries never expose incremental transaction batches.

The gap between current asking median and recent sold median — surfaced as a negotiation-room figure on every cell — is a dated market-level observation, not an offer, not a guarantee, and not a dealer-margin claim.
