Top-Cited Trucks Across AI Assistants in 2025
These trucks are most-cited by ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity when asked which models consumers should consider in 2025. OAV cross-references each pick against live U.S. used-vehicle market data — national inventory, average days on lot, price-to-market alignment, and the state with deepest available inventory.

Sorted by cross-LLM mention count (highest first), then by median rank across LLMs. "Find listings" routes to OAV's deep market page for the state with the largest available inventory of that model.
How this ranking works
Each Sunday, OAV asks ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), and Perplexity the same question: “What are the top 10 trucks consumers should consider in 2025?” The three LLMs return their own rankings based on their training data and current web search. OAV aggregates the responses by mention count and median rank — vehicles cited by all three LLMs sit at the top of this list.
OAV then validates each pick against its live U.S. used-vehicle market data: national inventory count, average days on lot, the share of listings priced aligned to market, the share priced below market (“Great Deal”), and the state with the deepest inventory. Vehicles with fewer than 50 live listings nationally are dropped from the list — a sanity gate against LLM hallucinations or discontinued models.
The result: a ranking that combines AI-assistant consensus with verifiable market data, refreshed weekly. Full methodology →
