One complaint can be recorded against more than one component, so counts do not sum to the model-year total. Service records for any component listed here are worth requesting from the seller. This used 2020 Subaru Forester Sport is listed at $18,780 by Sophia's Auto Sales Inc in Worcester, MA 01610. It has 105,158 miles on the odometer (dealer-reported, not independently verified by OAV). The exterior color is Black. It features a 4WD drivetrain with a 2.5L H4 engine and CVT transmission.
OAV's independent, evidence-backed Price-to-Market analysis rates this vehicle as a Great Deal — priced below the comparable-range floor by at least OAV's minimum-gap margin. Based on 14 comparable listings matched to this vehicle, the estimated market range is $21,416 to $23,341. The local comparable range around Worcester, MA is $21,416 to $23,341; the local cohort is drawn around this dealer's market and can include listings across a state line. These comparisons match year, make, and model, using trim where the data supports it. OAV does not adjust comparable prices for mileage — every price shown is the real advertised price. On used vehicles, mileage can still cause OAV to withhold a verdict — very high or unreliable mileage, or a lower price better explained by higher-than-typical mileage than by a genuine market discount — rather than call it a deal it can't support.
This vehicle has been on the lot for 119 days.
Analysis powered by OAV's patented inventory standardization technology (U.S. Patent No. 12,236,477). Verdict methodology ptm-verdict-v1 · snapshot Oct 1, 2026. The comparable band (patent pending) is the input; ptm-verdict-v1 is the versioned OAV rule set that turns it into this verdict.
Market context
This listing is part of OAV's broader Worcester, MA suvs market analysis. OAV rates each vehicle against its comparable range and comparable count — local-first, widening the comparison set only when local inventory is too thin to support a reliable range; days-on-lot and demand signals are shown separately, not as verdict inputs.
How this deal is rated
OAV compares this 2020 Subaru Forester against similar vehicles currently available for sale — same make, model, and year range, using trim where the data supports it. OAV does not adjust comparable prices for mileage; on used vehicles it withholds a verdict when mileage would distort the comparison — very high or unreliable mileage, or a lower price better explained by higher-than-typical mileage than by a genuine market discount — rather than overstate a deal. Based on where this listing falls in that comparable set, it is rated:
- Great Deal — priced below the comparable-range floor by at least OAV's minimum-gap margin; a smaller gap under the floor is Fair Price.
- Fair Price — priced within the comparable range, or below the floor by less than that margin.
- Overpriced — priced above the comparable range.
- Unscored — OAV withholds a verdict when the evidence cannot support one: too few or too widely spread comparables, a price it cannot validate, a branded or salvage title, or mileage that would distort the comparison. The listing stays visible; only the rating is withheld.
Listings show OAV's Price-to-Market verdict and live market context for every dealer's inventory, whether or not the dealer has any relationship with OAV. A dealer that claims its listings can manage its profile and have buyer inquiries routed to it directly. A paying partner's own listings additionally carry an OAV Verified Partner label on the dealer contact block and a link to the dealer's own listing page. That is the complete list of what a relationship with OAV changes, and all of it concerns the dealer's identity on its own listings. Payment never changes a vehicle's verdict, its eligibility to be scored or cited, the evidence shown or withheld, or where and how prominently the listing appears on any OAV page, board, or answer. There is no paid placement, ranking, ordering, verdict badge, or featured position of any kind. OAV sells dealers insight into the evidence, never influence over it.
