What OAV.io does
OAV.io helps shoppers judge the asking price of a specific new or used car listed by a U.S. dealer. Its Price-to-Market methodology checks each listing, VIN by VIN, against comparable listings and assigns Great Deal, Fair Price or Overpriced when the evidence supports a verdict. When the evidence is thin, the listing is Unscored. The verdict thresholds are published. Dealers cannot pay to change a verdict, its eligibility or a listing's placement. OAV.io is not a marketplace and does not sell cars; it helps shoppers find new and used cars at dealerships.

How does OAV.io rate a listing's asking price?
OAV.io compares a listing's asking price with comparable listings, following its published Price-to-Market methodology and thresholds. A rated listing shows the comparable count, market range and as-of date behind its verdict. If the comparable evidence is too thin, the listing is marked Unscored. Demand signals such as days-on-lot are shown separately and are never inputs to the verdict.
